Google Play developer account
Buy or sell a Google Play developer account with Soom escrow: money held until delivery, a screen-recorded handover with an agent, then 60-day protection.
On Soom, a Google Play developer account is transferred by: Hand over the Google account that owns Play Console. Every handover is fully screen-recorded with an escrow agent present, and the money stays held by Soom until the buyer confirms and a 60-day protection period ends. Every listing for this platform is reviewed by Soom staff before it goes live.
This platform's terms prohibit selling or transferring accounts. The platform may suspend the account; that risk is not covered by escrow unless the buyer-protection policy says so.
Hand over the Google account that owns Play Console
Google does not move the developer account itself: the owning Google account is handed over, then developer and payment details are updated to the buyer. To move one app, use the official app transfer instead.
- Declare the original email, purchase history and every linked login
- Deposit the login credentials in the encrypted vault
- Start a recorded handover session with the escrow agent
- Buyer signs in on their own device
- Change the email to the buyer's email
- Change the phone number to the buyer's number
- Change the password
- Reset 2FA to the buyer's authenticator and regenerate backup codes
- Sign out of every other device and session
- Add the buyer as owner in Users and permissions and remove the seller's users
- Update developer details and payments profile to the buyer and complete Google's identity check if asked
- Hand over signing keys, source code and linked Firebase projects
- Agent reviews every security page and confirms the handover
- Buyer confirms full control of the account
- Re-prove ownership at every checkpoint of the protection period
