An offer is valid for 48 hours; the seller can accept, decline or counter. Nothing is charged until it is accepted. In an auction a small deposit is held on your first bid and returned if you do not win. A bid in the last 5 minutes extends the auction by 5 minutes to stop sniping. Auto-bidding bids for you up to your limit without revealing it.
